What does a Formula Adaptation project cover?

Included: One defined brief, starting from an existing DAT Supply formula; Adaptation of that formula: ingredients, actives, dosage, serving or compatible components; Ingredient and dosage assessment; Preliminary regulatory and technical review appropriate to development; One sample-production round with up to 3 flavours; Final formula and product specification; Production quotation.

Not included: Production itself — quoted separately; A second development or sample round; A material change of product or formula direction; A guarantee that the original concept is manufacturable exactly as requested; A genuinely new formula with no suitable DAT Supply base, new-product R&D, scientific research, due diligence, bespoke testing or compliance work — handled as Custom Projects.

An agreed percentage of the development fee can be credited against your first production order, depending on its volume. Production is quoted separately once the formula and specification are approved.

Formula Adaptation production minimums are fixed per format: gummies 3,000 units per SKU; gummy sachets 3,000 packs per SKU; powder sticks 60,000 sticks per SKU; jelly sticks 60,000 sticks per SKU; oral strips 5,000 boxes and at least 75,000 strips per SKU; pet soft chews 3,000 units per SKU.
