How to start a Formula Adaptation project

Open the brief from the Formula Adaptation page and write it in your DAT Supply account. The development fee is paid at the end of the brief.

Formula Adaptation adapts an existing DAT Supply formula: a change to its ingredients, actives or dosage. Packaging, an approved flavour or colour, or an existing shape on a catalogue formula is Private Label configuration. Start from the Formula Adaptation page: the brief is written in your DAT Supply account, and writing it costs nothing. Formula Adaptation — $1,950, paid upfront. It is paid at the end of the brief, once the scope is confirmed. Delivery outside the EU, UK and US is an Export Project, scoped with you once commercial fit is confirmed.

Production is quoted separately once the formula and specification are approved. Standard production lead time is approximately 8 weeks after formula/specification, artwork and payment are approved. Shipping/transit is additional.

Formula Adaptation production minimums are fixed per format: gummies 3,000 units per SKU; gummy sachets 3,000 packs per SKU; powder sticks 60,000 sticks per SKU; jelly sticks 60,000 sticks per SKU; oral strips 5,000 boxes and at least 75,000 strips per SKU; pet soft chews 3,000 units per SKU.
